Led by the sultry vocals of Rachael Yanni and cerebral songwriting of Cody Hall, Traveling Broke and Out of Gas has created a niche for themselves with their own brand of diverse, Folk inspired sounds. The moods, tempo, and instrumentation change from song to song, keeping both the audience and the band on their toes with ever changing folk/blues/rock/country style and sound that has been appropriately labeled ‘Bastard Americana’.
