Celebration of Michael Heaton’s Life and Music

Date/Time: Saturday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m.
Location: Two Brothers Roundhouse Tavern (Aurora)
Details: $10 Donation Cover

A celebration of local musician Michael Heaton’s life and career will be held this Saturday, February 15th, starting at 7 p.m. at the Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora.

Heaton, who was well known as a talented musician and beloved friend of the community, passed away in late 2019 after a long battle with medullary cancer.

The event will feature a number of local bands and musicians, including bands comprised of former band mates, friends and fans of Heaton. Performers will be singing some of Heaton’s songs and utilizing his beloved jumbo acoustic guitar, “Dwhite.”

Throughout the night, family and friends will be playing music, sharing stories, raising pints and continuing Michael’s longstanding history of helping others by raising money for a good cause.

This event will benefit a local Batavia family and their daughter Wrenley, who has battled idiopathic aplastic anemia for years. Her parents, Kris and Paul are long-time members of the Two Brothers family as bartenders at the Two Brothers Tap House in Warrenville.

All door donations will go to Wrenley’s family, with a suggested donation of $10 per person.
